try-out workshops in acting for beginners
Body language, gesture, mimicry, language and voice – every human being has many of these means of expression at his or her disposal and everyone daily uses them quite unconsciously.
In the try-out workshops participants learn, in a playful manner and without instructing texts, to play with situations. Thereby, they get to know their own means of expressions of acting and to use them purposely.
Exercises with improvisation – with and without language, with and without precise assignments – also take up much time in a professional actor’s training. They help the actor – especially at the beginning of the training – to try out the whole scope of his individual means of expression and later to shape his roles.
This week-long workshops during school holidays address participants who have few or none acting experiences.
