acting workshops for beginners

Body language, gesture, mimicry, language and voice – every human being has many of these means of expression at his or her disposal and everyone daily uses them quite unconsciously.

In the try-out workshops participants learn, in a playful manner and without instructing texts, to play with situations. Thereby, they get to know their own means of expressions of acting and learn how to use them purposely.

Exercises with improvisation – with and without language, with and without precise assignments – also take up much time in a professional actor’s training. They help the actor – especially at the beginning of the training – to try out the whole scope of his individual means of expression and later to shape his roles.

basic course acting 1

With acting, it is the same as with any other form of art: basic prerequisite is a certain amount of individual talent. And it is about the discovery of this talent and a steady training of it. In the basic acting courses, the participants are introduced to the basics of acting. Through exercises the feeling for one’s own body and the feeling for rhythm are discovered. And the basic acting forms of expression (body language, gesture, mimicry, voice, language) and their exertion in scenic exercises and improvisations are tried out. Exercises on stage and playing with words prepare for the situation on stage and strengthen the ability to be present on stage.

That way, the participants have the possibility to try out the different facets of acting. Everyone can join the basic course 1, there are no prerequisites.

basic course musical

Acting, singing, dancing – everything at the same time. For the audience it looks easy, light and vibrant: but nowhere else the demands for the performers are as complex as in musicals.

The basic course musical offers the participants the possibility to learn the basic elements of musical: singing, dancing, expression and most importantly a feeling for rhythm as the prerequisite for a combination of all elements.

Gospels, ensemble-dancing and solo or choire songs which are known from popular musicals are connected with expressive choreographies.
